Arumeru Lodge

This lodge, situated on the main Arusha to Moshi road, is just a 35 minute journey from Kilimanjaro Airport and only 15 minutes from Arusha town.

Built on the site of an old coffee lodge, the property is spread over a 12 acre site. The lodge gardens border a river lined with many old trees.  There are 20 spacious red clad chalets, all set in the gardens with en suite facilities and are furnished with eco-friendly African architecture. Each of the rooms has its own veranda.

The main reception building houses the lounge, 2 restaurants and a bar area as well as a small boutique and curio shop. The main restaurant has fantastic views over Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro and there is also an outdoor terraced restaurant as well.  International and African cuisine is served in the restaurants in both buffet and a la carte form. Light lunches and a snack menu are served on the terrace during the day
and in the pool area.

The main feature of the lounge is a large fireplace where guests can gather and relax in the evening.

The landscaped grounds also have a large solar heated swimming pool with sunshades, sun beds and changing rooms. Should you feel more active the hotel also has a jogging trail available for use.

Guests can also make use of the internet and fax facilities should they need to.
