Chada Tented Camp
Located in Katavi National Park, this small camp is hidden amongst the trees and foliage on the edge of the Chada flood plain.
With just 6 tents, this camp is unobtrusive and aims to keep its environmental impact to the bare minimum. The spacious tents have thick rugs on the floor, bucket style showers and long drop loos. Meshed windows allow the cooling breezes into the tents. Although soaps and shampoos are provided, they are all biodegradable. Lights in the tents at night are provided by hurricane lamps to add to the bush atmosphere.
Meals are served in the mess with silverware and glasses sparkling in the starlight. After dinner you can spend some time sitting around the camp fire, swapping game driving experiences with your fellow guests.
Game viewing in this part of Katavi is excellent. The flood plains attract elephant in the mornings and evenings, vast herds of buffalo and masses of hippo as well. Make sure to have your camera ready at all times!
