Courtyard Hotel

Situated approximately 3 kilometres from the centre of Dar es Salaam, just 500 metres away from the beach, the Courtyard Hotel is built around a lush green courtyard and swimming pool.

The main building was built in 1948 when it was known as the Sea View Hotel. The original colonial
features of the hotel have been preserved and carried through to the newer building which houses the guest rooms.

Each of the 52 rooms is located around the courtyard or swimming pool and is tastefully furnished with traditional furniture, cotton bed linen and hand crafted Tiffany lamps. Each room has en suite facilities, safety deposit boxes, satellite TV, mini bar and electronic door locks. Wireless internet is available from the hotel.

There is a choice of restaurants as well. Langi Langi serves international cuisine, including breakfast, lunch and dinner,  Open House is the 24 hour coffee and cake shop and the Jahazi Bar is available for light meals and relaxing pre dinner drinks.

Leisure facilities include a swimming pool and gym with golf, yachting and a bowling alley available nearby.
