Kusini Tented Camp

Located in the south western area of the Serengeti, Kusini Tented Camp is close to the border with the Maswa Game Reserve to the south and the Ngorongoro Conservation area to the east. This high specification camp is set amongst granite kopjes and acacia woodland.

There are 12 tents in this permanent camp and all are tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfy and the en suite facilities include a towelling bathrobe for guests use. The rooms have electricity and also wooden verandas where you can relax and watch the world go by.

The main reception, bar and dining area staff offer guests a superb service and excellent food whilst the small library is a quiet place to sit and read.

During January to March the camp can get very busy as the migration passes through the short plains area whilst for the remainder of the year it reverts to a pleasant backwater with a reasonable amount of resident game. The migration brings its own retinue of predators and the chances of seeing lion, leopard, cheetah, as well as zebra and gazelle, increases.

We tend to use Kusini Camp relatively rarely, mainly because it tends to have a rather aged guest profile for our more mixed clientele.
