Lemala Tented Camp
Located within Lake Manyara National Park, Lemala Tented Camp is a seasonal camp set on the edge of an acacia woodland with views across the lake.
Each of the traditional tents have wooden flooring with warm rugs, solar lighting and en suite facilities with a flush toilet and a safari shower. The tents have double or king side beds with duvets for the colder nights. Each tent faces the lake for beautiful sunsets and sunrises as well as being ideally placed for catching the breeze from the waters of the lake on those hotter days.
The area around the camp is often visited by a wide range of game including elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and even, sometimes, lion. They are attracted by the seasonal waterhole situated in front of the camp fire.
The birdlife in this part of the park is superb and you can even visit the hot springs easily from the camp.
As an addition you can arrange to take a guided walk along the lakeshore as well as the standard game drives. This area of the park is relatively crowd free so you can enjoy you game viewing all the more.
