New Africa Hotel
Set in the heart of Dar es Salaam, the New Africa Hotel is a reasonable choice for an overnight stay, although it can be rather noisy in the evening.
The hotel has 119 rooms and 7 suites. Each of the rooms has a queen size bed and overlooks the central courtyard pool. Each has en suite facilities, air conditioning, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless internet, mini bar and safety deposit box.
There is a choice of restaurants here. The Bandari Grill is situated on the first floor and is open at lunchtime serving an international buffet. In the evening the restaurant offers an a la carte menu with a range of both continental and Indian dishes. The Sawasdee Restaurant is located on the 9th floor and specialises in Thai cuisine. The Bottleneck Bar offers clients a cold beer or a choice of cocktails as well as a place to relax and chill out.
The hotel also offers its guests the use of a pool and gym during their stay.
