Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge

One of only 4 lodges set on the world famous Ngorongoro Crater’s rim, the Wildlife Lodge has a stunning location but is a bit sparse compared to the other lodges around it.

The 75 rooms are simply decorated and rather small, although all have en suite facilities. The balconies have superb views of the Crater.

The Rhino restaurant serves a mixture of styles of food and the last time we visited, both the service and standard of food left something to be desired. The Empakai Bar is situated in the main lounge area which has panoramic windows opening onto a terrace and observation deck for the Crater below.

We would only suggest you visit this lodge as a stop for a cup of tea and only consider staying here if you were on a very tight budget.
