Olivers Tented Camp

Oliver’s Camp is situated in the south of Tarangire National Park, close to Silale swamps, away from the more commonly visited northern section of the park. It is one of the original tented camps in this area and offers a small, intimate experience teamed with high standards of service and expert guiding.

There are 8 tents, each of which are tastefully decorated with old wood furniture. The en suite facilities consist of an eco chemical toilet and a bucket shower. There is also a small shaded area to the front of the tent, overlooking the bush, in which to sit and relax.

The dining, drinks and library tent form the focal part of the camp in the evening, with a stone fireplace where everyone gathers to exchange experiences of the day. Quite often you are minding your own business when a large bull elephant decided to pay the camp a visit!

Oliver’s Camp is somewhere you can truly experience the African bush in an unstuffy way, ideal for the real safari enthusiast.
