Springlands Hotel

Located on the southern slopes of Kilimanjaro, near to the town of Moshi, this hotel is an ideal base for mountain walking trips as well as safaris. There is a regular shuttle bus that travels between the hotel and Moshi itself.

The hotel rooms are tastefully decorated with mosquito netting at the windows and fans to help keep you cool. Each room has en suite facilities with a shower. Safety deposit boxes are available for hire at reception.

The hotels restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining in the tropical garden. Dinner is usually a buffet style meal and the Garden bar serves guests pre and post dinner drinks.

The hotels swimming pool is available for guests use and is fenced for safety. The hotel also has a sauna, fitness room, TV room and gift shop.

The hotel is named for the freshwater springs which are found a short distance away. These springs are fed by the melting snow and rains of Kilimanjaro and feeds into fields leading to an extensive area of forest reserve. This forest supports a great variety of wildlife and it is possible to take walks into the forest to see the various species of monkey and birds that make this area their home.
