Tarangire River Camp

Tarangire River Camp it is located fifteen minutes from the main entrance to Tarangire. The camp is in a fantastic location overlooking a tributary of theTarangire River where you can sit and take in your surroundings with views across to the park.

There are ten roomy tents all with en suite shower and toilet and hot showers.

Meals used to be served in the main dinning tent beneath an enormous old Baobab. Sadly the dinning room along with most of the camp was washed away this rainy season (2007) and the old baobab tree now forms part of the riverbed. The camp has been completely rebuilt with new rooms, which are enormous. Food is still excellent.
