White Sands Hotel

Situated on a kilometre of private beach at Jagwani Beach, 25  kilometres from Dar  es Salaam, is the White Sands hotel.

The resort consists of 118 rooms and 28 studios and apartments. All the standard rooms have en suite facilities, air conditioning, satellite TV, private safes and private balconies with sea views. The studio and apartments have garden or sea views with kitchenettes and either 1 or 2 bedrooms.

The resort has 4 restaurants and bars. The Mchanga Café and Bar is situated on the main beach with sea views. Buffet breakfasts are served here as well as a light lunch and snack menu during the day.  The Poolside Coffee Shop is right next to the new swimming pool whilst the Ruaha Restaurant and Bar is air conditioned and overlooks the gardens. The Kolo Kole Restaurant is a large, open plan thatched building overlooking the ocean and serves a variety of cuisine with themed dinner buffets and a Saturday night seafood buffet.

There are plenty of water sports to keep you occupied during your stay here.  Wind surfing, laser sailing, catamarans and snorkelling are available here and there is also a PADI Dive centre for those wishing to dive.  There is an abundance of ocean life to be discovered on the finest coral reefs in East Africa, and looking out across the ocean, you can see three other islands – in a word, Paradise!

The hotel also has a Spa & Wellness Centre, called Spa White Sands offering gym and beauty treatments.
