Faru Faru Lodge

Singita Serengeti is a private game concession which borders the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park. The area is renowned for its excellent year round game viewing and ideally placed for the annual wildebeest migration. There are 3 super luxurious lodges of which Faru Faru Lodge is one.

It is situated about 45 minutes from Sasakwa Lodge, on the other side of the road, heading back towards Fort Ikoma, still within the main concession area.

Faru Faru Lodge has just six very luxurious air conditioned suites. The rooms are constructed from local stone and rock; the suites overlook the Grumeti River and have huge picture windows and a sliding glass front wall with balcony to make the most of the views of the waterhole and any game that it attracts. They each have air conditioning and of course en suite facilities. Each bedroom also has biological text books, test tubes, magnifying glasses, old bins and other interesting artefacts of a bygone era.

The dining area, bar and health Spa are situated in the main part of the lodge. If you prefer you can always have a massage on your private balcony!

There are 2 swimming pools at Faru Faru; one an infinity pool and the other designed to look like a beach area with sand scatter cushions to relax on. There is also an elevated deck and fire pit for relaxing during the evening, sitting round the fire swapping stories of the day’s game drive.

There are a variety of activities to enjoy here such as archery, horse riding and tennis to name but three. Balloon rides are also possible to arrange in advance.

Faru Faru Lodge is without doubt opulent, over the top and expensive but we defy you not to enjoy your time there.
