Situated on the main corridor of the world famous wildebeest migration and just a stone’s throw from the Mara River, Kuria Hills offers guests the opportunity of witnessing this magnificent event at its very best.
The tents have a unique design based on sound, globally recognised and accepted environmental principals which ensure the lightest footprint possible. They are constructed using a mix of recycled steel, glass, sustainable timbers, composite decking and canvas.
The tents are very spacious and are stylishly furnished with a contemporary design, making them comfortable and homely. The double rooms have grand super-king beds whilst the twins have two queen sized beds. Each tent has a sitting area, bedroom, bathroom, dressing area, outside deck and outside shower.
The front of each bedroom has sliding frameless glass windows and the sitting areas have sliding glass doors to give uninterrupted views of this magnificent landscape and passing game.
All tents have ceiling fans and net awnings over the front decks to provide additional shade. Each tent has its own plunge pool which is sunken into the deck so you can relax in sparkling water and enjoy the views.
The public areas also utilise the views to their full extent. There is a bar, inside seated areas, dining area, gift shop, swimming pool and outside decking with tables. WiFi is available in these main areas.
A plated service with a choice of two starters, three entrees and two deserts is available at lunch and dinner every day. High tea is served in the afternoons. The breakfast menu offers fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts, and a traditional English or continental breakfast.
Bush dinners, bush breakfasts, tepanyaki, wood fired pizzas, barbecues and wine tasting are some of the various food experiences on offer at the camp.
An African spa treatment centre offers manicure, pedicure, massage or aroma treatments.
