Ndutu Lodge

Ndutu Lodge is situated in the south eastern part of the Serengeti eco-system. Tucked well away from the busy tourist circuit, Ndutu is a great place from which to visit the short grass plains of the Serengeti as well as the swamps, woodlands and soda lakes that make up the surrounding habitat.

The central part of the lodge consists of the open sided lounge, bar and dining area. The meals at Ndutu are good, home cooked style food and there is always a vegetarian option on offer. The bar is open until late or you can enjoy a drink sitting around the camp fire.

The lodge consists of 34 stone cottages, each of which has its own veranda overlooking Lake Ndutu. The cottages are built from local materials and all have en suite facilities. All rooms have electric lights although there are also torches and candles in case they are needed.

Ndutu Lodge offers a full laundry service – laundry bags and a price list are available in your room. The lodge also has a small gift shop and an internet service is available for guests.

There are no fences around Ndutu Lodge and so who knows who make come visiting?
