Ras Mbisi Lodge comprises nine spacious bandas which are all just metres from the sandy beach. The furniture is all made by local craftsmen from coco wood. Each room has a bathroom and balcony to watch the sunrise and sunset.
The beachfront restaurant serves a mixture of Swahili and international dishes with many of the ingredients coming from the Ras Mbisi Lodge’s own gardens. A roof top bar is also available for cooling drinks or a cocktail or two!
The swimming pool is an ideal place to relax or you can view some of the wildlife to be found in the waters around the island. Mafia Marine Park is the largest marine protected area in East Africa.
There is plenty to do at Ras Mbisi such as sunset cruises, fishing trips, sea kayaks, canoes, diving and snorkelling.
