Sabora Tented Camp

Singita Serengeti is a private game concession which borders the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park. The area is renowned for its excellent year round game viewing and ideally placed for the annual wildebeest migration. There are 3 super luxurious lodges of which Sabora Tented Camp is one.

Sabora Tented Camp is set on the private and very exclusive Grumeti Reserve, this camp is often viewed as a modest annexe to the more lavish Sasakwa Lodge. Sabora Camp is usually accessed by air rather than as part of an overland safari trip. The world renown great migration passes through this reserve between June & August and Sabora Tented Camp is ideally located to witness this wonder. The resident game outside these months is also excellent.

There are just 6 lavishly decorated colonial style tents, all with air conditioning and a 360 degree view of the Serengeti Plains. Each tent has a bedroom and reading area, an en suite bathroom featuring both a bath and an outdoor shower, and a private viewing deck with a Swarovski spotting scope!

The main camp area has a dining tent, a library/lounge tent and a wide viewing deck from which you can spot game on the surrounding plains.

There is also a heated swimming pool adjacent to the viewing deck area, a tennis court and a spa. Guests also have access to the equestrian centre at Sasakwa Lodge.

Sabora Tented Camp is our favourite of the three camps, just because it is right on the plains with wildebeest all around.
