Selous Wilderness Camp has just 7 spacious, traditionally styled tents, each of which has a thatched makuti roof. The tents are furnished with a mixture of solid wood furniture and leather sofas and all have views of the Rufiji River. There are fans in each tent as well as an en suite bathroom with outside shower.
There is a good distance between tents, offering privacy to each guest. The tents vary in bed arrangements, with some being twin bedded, some double bedded and a family tent which can accommodate three people. There are also 2 honeymoon tents.
Selous Wilderness Camp has 24 hour power and can arrange the charging of batteries for cameras etc. There is also a swimming pool for guests use.
The scenery around the camp is mainly riparian forests with groves of borassus palms. Selous Game Reserve is one of the least known safari destinations, with a rich amount of game and a varied habitat. There are many activities available from here to include half and full day river safaris, game drives and walking safaris to name but a few.
