Serengeti Halisi Camp

Serengeti Halisi Camp is a seasonal camp located in the Serengeti National Park. From December to March it is located in the Ndutu area, close to the calving grounds where the wildebeest migration will be. From June-November, it is at Seronera in Central Serengeti which gives easy access to all parts of the National Park as well as having abundant resident game due to the proximity of the Seronera River.

‘Halisi’, meaning authentic or real in Kiswahili, is a state of mind as well as place. Serengeti Halisi Camp provide a simple bush camp experience, intimate and inviting, based on good food, friendly personal service and providing all the comfort you need.

The camp has 10 large, 6 metre en suite walk-in tents. There are king size beds or a family tent with 1 double and 2 singles. The tents have a separate bathroom area with a bush shower, sink, stand, mirror and toilet. Hot water is boiled and personally brought to your tent on request. Each tent has a small veranda area where you can sit and take in the view.

Serengeti Halisi Camp also has a lounge, dining and bar tent and a camp fire to gather around in the evenings whilst you reflect upon or chat about your day.

Private camping for groups in smaller tents away from the main camp can be arranged if requested in advance.
